In this world where money is valued over everything, Squid Game discusses what we really need to pursue in our lives. The whole concept of participating in the deathly game for money shows the dehumanization and savageness of oneself. The participants of the Squid Game are a reflection of racehorses that are only able to be fed when winning on the track.

 

The main idea of the opening sequence shows our savage subconsciousness by comparing people to animals. It depicts the superiority of money by showing contrast in colors. I have created a visual style of a painterly rough texture to match the theme and soundtrack (Pink Soldiers).

Using symbolistic colors, magenta shows superiority, and turquoise represents inferiority.
